Mares once again sets new benchmarks in the world of diving equipment with the PLANET 88X TBP regulator, delivering a completely new sensation of underwater breathing – Natural Breathing 2.0.
At the heart of this innovative regulator lies Airmatic Technology, an exclusive pneumatic valve that completely eliminates traditional mechanical springs in the second stage. The result is an exceptionally smooth, natural, and almost imperceptible breathing experience – regardless of depth or diving conditions.
The 88X TBP first stage, finished in elegant Pearl Chrome, incorporates the TBP Dry Kit for environmental sealing, AST – Auto Sealing Technology, and a swivel turret with five low-pressure ports, allowing optimal hose routing and maximum airflow.
The PLANET second stage features an all-metal construction and is equipped with VAD – Vortex Assisted Design for powerful and responsive airflow, a manual override button for airflow control, and a side-mounted, pivoting purge button. The regulator is engineered for reliable performance even in cold water.
The PLANET 88X TBP has been thoroughly tested in real-world conditions over several years and thousands of dives. Its simplified internal design also ensures exceptionally easy servicing, without the need for complex adjustments.
Designed for divers who demand top-level performance, reliability, and the highest level of comfort with every breath. Whether exploring vibrant coral reefs, diving into underwater caves, or exploring submerged wrecks, the PLANET 88X TBP ensures breathing is always effortless, natural, and completely worry-free.
Available in DIN and INT (yoke) versions to seamlessly match your diving setup.
