ODA

The Optical Display Adapter (ODA) gives divers a constant overview of the most important CCR diving data. The diver has all the data in front of his eyes, which significantly increases the comfort and safety of diving. Using a lux meter, ODA can determine the amount of ambient light and automatically adjust the display's brightness so that it is readable in all conditions from direct sunlight to complete darkness.

The ODA has a built-in tilt-compensated compass. Thanks to this, you will always know exactly which direction you are swimming, as the display shows the compass direction based on where you are looking. The diver has a constant overview of the direction and can thus constantly check his position in relation to the boat or the exit from the water.

A high level of safety is provided by red flashes that warn the diver if safe values are exceeded. The front buddy screen alerts your dive partner, who can provide immediate assistance in an emergency.

ODA optics are made of premium sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating. This ensures a clear view of the screen without glare. The optics work on the principle of a collimator, so it not only enlarges the display of the miniature screen, but also enables simultaneous monitoring of the screen and the environment. The diver can adjust the focus of the optics for his vision using the focusing ring on the eyepiece. At the same time, using an adjustable bracket, he can determine whether the screen will be right or left eye based on his dominant eye.

The adjustable mount is stable enough to withstand riding a scooter, so you'll always have your ODA in sight. The ODA is connected to the Liberty 2021 Edition head via the HUD / BD connector. The display itself is attached to the DSV or BOV on the rail in the same way as the HUD.

The full-color screen has a very good resolution and shows the most important data for the CCR:

  • current loop ppO2,
  • set point,
  • depth,
  • time sink
  • decompression,
  • climb rate,
  • OXY/DIL pressure,
  • graphical indicator of the O2 sensor value in a bar graph.

Other features:

  • the ODA does not need to be charged as it is powered by the Liberty CCR,
  • the screen is connected via a super durable and flexible cable,
  • the hydrodynamic design of the ODA prevents the ODA from moving on the holder while riding the scooter,
  • ODA is only compatible with Liberty 2021 release. If you want to use ODA on your Liberty, check here for upgrade options.
