SPECTRUM MASK WITH BUDDY PHONE® D2 COMMUNICATIONS PACKAGE

The Spectrum Mask Communications Package includes an OTS Spectrum Mask (any color/configuration combination) and the Buddy Phone® D2, a digital, micro-miniature ultrasonic transceiver enabling clear communication between two or more divers and surface stations.

Using Digital Signal Processing (DSP), the D2 ensures uncompromising speech clarity, even over long distances. Digitally controlled, the D2 features a voice menu to guide divers underwater in adjusting volume, switching channels, or activating continuous voice transmission (hands-free) — a feature especially valued by filmmakers and scientists.

Voice Menu: When diving with the D2, the system will announce: "Buddy Phone ON, frequency A (B), channel one (four), volume High (Medium, Low)" based on previous settings. Adjustments are simple: press the PTT switch three times and hold the third press to access the main menu, select an option, and the unit returns to receive mode.
